Who was the belle of Monday night’s Met ball? Camilla Belle, of course — dressed by Giorgio Armani himself. So far, 2008 has seen a string of style hits from the up-and-coming actress, who recently starred in the movie “10,000 BC.”

It’s no surprise Camilla knows fashion; her Brazilian mom, who’s now her manager, used to be a designer. Camilla grew up in California and has been acting since she was a little kid — but it’s only recently that she’s started to become a fashion darling.

At the rate she’s going, we see endorsement deals, bigger and better starring roles, and many memorable red-carpet moments in Ms. Belle’s future. And not just because she’s beautiful and stylish. Here’s what we love best about her: Unlike some of the pouty princesses in her peer group, when Camilla gets glammed up, she actually looks like she’s having a good time.
